What’s In A Name?

When I first created this here blog I had absolutely no idea all of the work and planning that goes into making it something I am proud of. You should have seen what a mess it was when I first created it! Oh my, just suffice to say it was not pretty.

One thing has been permanent though, and that is the original intention that this would be a blog which promotes decorum, organization, and simplicity. Although I love the title “Keep It Simple” for a blog and believe that it encompasses what I express here, the fact of the mater is that there are so many sites and blogs that go by that title. It makes it rather difficult to find me in the great vast sea which is the web.

For this reason, I’ve decided to change the name of my blog to “Alyssa J Freitas.” After hours of brainstorming and testing out possibilities on my family, I realized that nothing is more uniquely me than my name (plus my domain is already alyssajfreitas.blogspot.com and all of my social media handles are alyssajfreitas so there is a theme here…). The vision and goals of my blog remain the same, just under a new heading! After all, what’s in a name right?
