Ok, so it’s been established that I don’t like to spend money. At all. Ever. But when I do have to begrudgingly remove my wallet from my purse I want to make sure that I’m getting the best deal possible. There are so many discounts and coupon codes out there that it can be such a hassle to figure out everything that is available to you. I recently stumbled upon (like actually came across it in my internet browsing, not like I used stumbleupon.com. I’m still trying to figure out how to get the most out of that site, but I digress) studentrate.com.
Basically studentrate.com collects and offers discounts and cash back to students from a plethora of stores and websites. For example, when you go to the deals tab on the website you can get an entire listing of the amazing money saving goodness they have for you! Also, they offer some great deals on textbooks which we all know can cost more than an arm and leg (if I was paying the sticker price of my textbooks for this semester I’d be out over $500, but expect another post on that atrocity at a later time).
Studentrate also has a blog called SRTrends which has articles about college life, DIY, fashion, beauty, dorms…if a college student wants to know about it, they have it. Expect a guest post from me on SRTrends soon!
P.S. One of the deals from studentrate.com which I’m seriously considering using is 20% off at Tech Candy. I’ve had the same iPhone case since getting my iPhone4 almost four years ago. I think it’s time for an upgrade. What say you?
