Welcome to the last monthly recap of 2022! Last week I shared a post about setting your priorities for 2023, and I’ve found that having these monthly recap posts are great for end of year reflection purposes. Even if you’re not a blogger, maybe you can take inspiration to create an album of photos each month or write a monthly reflection starting in the new year!
Technically in November, but after I published my November recap, Joe, Sheetal, Rahim, and I went to see Straight Line Crazy, a play about Robert Moses. Expect to see a podcast episode about him soon!
My friend Hanna and I went to an exhibit at the NY Historical Society about Jewish delis. I loved it and it was awesome to go with Hanna who gave me an even deeper history lesson the subject. We ended the night with hot chocolate at a diner, which felt very appropriate.
Austen and Andrew hosted their annual holiday party, and it was a great time as always!
Christina and I had a walking date in Central Park and soaked up the last of the fall foliage.
A super fun event this month was going to Brooklyn Bowl with our friends Alex and Jamie for disco night. There was so much room to dance!
I had a ton of fun end of year parties through work – one was bowling, another was pasta making, and another (my favorite!) was a walking food tour of the lower East Side.
The last few weeks have been busy with Joe’s birthday, our annual “breakfast with Santa” celebration with Joe’s family, and going to see a Christmas show with my family and celebrating the day of in Jersey as well.
Next week you can expect my December book reviews to go live on Instagram and my annual year review on the blog. After that, we’ll get back to our regularly scheduled program of a new podcast release!
How was your December?
