When it comes to resolutions, I actually do mine at the start of the school year because I have been programed to view September as a new beginning. September to June is the timeframe for me to make the biggest progress in my life because that is when things are happening! At the start of the calendar year, however, I make a goal for the amount of books I want to read. For 2014 I set out to read 30 books and I’ve read 31 (just call me an overachiever). This means that I read about 2 and a half books every month, but I have a feeling I can do more.
In 2015 I want to up the ante to 35 books. I have confidence that I can do it, and will love every second I get to read. To keep track of my progress I use Goodreads (which, fun fact, is actually owned by Amazon). At the start of the year you can create a “challenge” and as you finish books you enter them into your account; it’s that simple! I invite all of you to connect with me on Goodreads and join me on the quest to read even more in 2015.
What sort of goals do you set? Do you have a number of books you hope to read?

I'm so impressed by your challeneged (and now motivated to start my own)! Good luck with all your reading this year, and let me know if you've got any recommendations 🙂
