This has been another action packed month, though I realized I’ve been taking less pictures than usual. Part of me thinks that’s good because I’m living in the moment and not getting distracted by capturing memories and part of me thinks that just a little more effort would go a long way to helping me enjoy and cherish the memories all the more. I’m going to try and be more intentional for June and we’ll see how I do!
At the start of the year I purchased the Boho Beautiful Official app for yoga and I’ve been obsessed. While you can certainly just use YouTube videos from their channel, I love being able to follow calendars and programs, create my own, and have one dedicated place to get a video each day. It makes choosing a video a lot easier and I’ve been doing yoga consistently multiple times per week this year.
The weather has been beautiful and I’ve had quite a few park days, including with Nina and Joe. I love going on picnics and soaking in the sounds of nature + the city.
I visited the latest fashion exhibit at the Met and it was wonderful, as always.
I went out to California for work (have I mentioned I’m loving my new job?!) for a week and it was a productive and educational experience.
My book club met in the public space of Pier 57, which was so comfortable and convenient for me coming from work right upstairs!
Sheetal had a birthday celebration and we had a museum morning at the new Gilder Center at the Museum of Natural History. The architecture was beautiful, but I still choose the Met every time 😉
I ate a lot of good food this month, including a home cooked meal by Joe when we hosted our friends John and Christina for dinner and a customer dinner at a Malaysian restaurant.
For Memorial Day weekend I got to celebrate Christina at her bridal shower and we spent the holiday with James and Chrystalla at their home.
How was your May? Are you ready for summer?
