This was a fun month with lots of socializing and a much needed vacation!
Walking past Chelsea Market on my way to the office was festive and the perfect way to welcome Thanksgiving month.
Night visits to the museum.
Casey came to visit!! We had so much fun talking, walking, taking photos, cooking, doing yoga…it was so wonderful that she came to the city.
I went to see my amazing friend Sheetal run the NYC Marathon!
This is my friend Tony. He used to visit me on the fire escape at our last apartment and I am happy to report that has followed us here.
The Central Park foliage this month has been superb.
Joe and I went on our first movie date since before the pandemic and I got a celebratory hot chocolate.
I also got to see my friend Ally for the first time in over a year when she stopped in the city before going to her family for Thanksgiving! I have missed my friends so much and really appreciate when I can see them.
A cozy Thanksgiving at home.
Right after Thanksgiving we headed to Mohonk for a belated anniversary celebration. Mohonk is where we went on our honeymoon, so it was special to get to visit again a little over a year later. We got to do some of our favorite activities again, like tomahawk throwing and attending lectures, and got to have new experiences, like visiting the spa and going on hikes with the in house naturalist.
I am excited for the holiday season and to share Christmas festivities this next month!
What were you up to in November? Have you had a good start to the season?
