Ever since visiting the Met’s exhibit Heavenly Bodies where music was played, I’ve thought a lot about how music can impact the experience of viewing art. I decided to create playlists to accompany the different sections of the Met.

Today I’m sharing my playlists for the 19th and Early 20th Century European Paintings and Sculpture, and Medieval Art (you could take this in to Arms and Armor as well; similar vibe that I think would go nicely) galleries. Enjoy!
Do you listen to music when visiting museums?
