Here we are, another month in quarantine has gone by. I am feeling grateful to have made it another month with everyone around me staying healthy, but much like everyone else I can’t wait to get out and about again. Even though I’m not “out and about” nearly to my usual degree, I do have a good amount of photos to share for this recap. Enjoy!
Let’s start with some delicious food! My father made a great Mexican inspired dinner and it was so so nice to spend a little bit of time in a different place.
There were some challenges coming back…one car wouldn’t start, but luckily everyone is at home so we could borrow Addison’s.
I’ve been taking my morning walks in the same areas, enjoying the new flowers coming in.
My work station is currently less than desirable. I created a standing desk in the bedroom, but have an idea for a new piece of furniture that may help. Stay tuned for the bedroom updates that I hinted in this post.
More walks, more nature.
Joe and I made our way over to the Hudson for an after work walk and it made me so happy to see the water, as it always does.
We have taken our work outside to the fire escape, and this Friday session was particularly lovely!
I was so excited to take my new picnic basket out for a spin, and per usual have been tearing through books. I’ll have another book recap post up soon.
I took my own break in NJ at the end of this month and was so grateful for the work from home setup I have while there. It’s glorious to sit in the sunroom.
Nature walks in NJ are just as fun, and it was nice to spend time with Mama and Papa.
Flowers, flowers everywhere! They’re blooming right outside our window now.
Joe and I have had a nice long weekend, complete with long walks along Central Park West and a meal from a patriotic food truck.
How has your May been?!
