Now that crew is over, I am having water withdrawal! In order to combat this very serious condition, my family and I decided to check out the Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex in New Jersey.

Oh my goodness, it is wonderful! The complex is brand new and beyond beautiful. There is a picnic pavilion, boathouse, adirondack chairs (so many!), swan boats, mini golf, and fountains.

The wooded area around the lake creates the perfect backdrop! I never knew my county was so nice before…

I’m wearing a fedora from Target, shirt by Chaps, and carrying a vintage Coach backpack (as it turns out I’ve had these pieces for so long that despite my best effort to find a specific link for them, it’s pretty impossible! You’ll have to go on your own hunt…best of luck).
